Grey Eagle Resort & Casino opened in 2007 on the Tsuut’ina Nation, bordering southwest Calgary. It has grown into the busiest casino in the Calgary area, with a large gaming floor, a hotel and an event centre that hosts concerts and functions throughout the year.

Grey Eagle sits on the Tsuut’ina Nation on Calgary’s southwestern edge, part of the First Nations gaming framework that runs through much of Alberta. The room stays busy year-round given its proximity to the city, and demand climbs during the Calgary Stampede in July, when the whole city fills with visitors. The Event Centre’s concert and function calendar broadens its appeal beyond the floor, and its position just outside the city limits keeps it an easy drive for a Calgary crowd rather than a tourist one.
