Club Aqua Gym is for those who are serious about swimming or you can enjoy a BBQ in the picnic area or enjoy the food from the café.
One of the best parks in Hamilton is Hamilton Lake Domain and is close to the CBD and a popular recreational facility. The park offers a range of water and land activities and has a unique ecological environment. The lake offers yachting, surfing, canoeing, paddling and a range of water activities. Innes Common is used for land sports like hockey and cricket and is where the Gallagher Hockey Centre is located. Organised events like fairs and family days are held here and a fun event to attend if you are in the area is the Waikato Balloon Festival. This area is a great place for families and has a great picnic area.
